Dr Philip Stammers
Phil grew up on a beef cattle property at Byrneside near Tatura. After graduating from Melbourne University, he has spent most of his working life at the Tatura and Mooroopna Veterinary Clinics where he was the longest serving member of the team. The early years were spent treating predominantly dairy cattle, but dogs, cats and the occasional alpaca have been his main interests in recent years.
Phil is looking forward to continuing the relationships he has developed with many clients over the years and helping to grow this new venture in conjunction with the locally based ownership.
Phil lives in Tatura with his wife Jenny and enjoys playing tennis at Toolamba and learning to play golf properly.
Dal is a qualified Veterinary Nurse, who has worked in the industry for almost 5 years. Dal's role will be the Practice Manager and will also undertake nursing and reception duties.
Dal has completed her Cert II & III in Animal Studies and also her cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is currently studying her bachelor degree in Veterinary Technology. Dal has always had a passion to love and care for animals from a young age. A vivid memory of hers is, in grade prep writing down what she wanted to be when she grew up and it was a Vet, very close to her true occupation.
Dal enjoys the family environment that the clinic provides within the clients, the patients and the staff. In her spare time Dal enjoys having a hit of tennis, spending time with her family which includes her fur family.
Dr Emily Dunham
Emily is an experienced mixed practice veterinarian who began her career in 2010 in South West Victoria. She has since worked in multiple mixed practices in Victoria and spent time furthering her training in production animal consultancy.
Emily loves treating all creatures great and small but has special interests in small animal medicine and production animals (anything from ruminants to pigs and chickens!).
In her spare time she enjoys cycling, hiking and planning her next travel adventure. Along with her partner Darrin, she shares her home with a totally love-able (yet somewhat neurotic) Labrador called Peanut and is constantly taking animals home.
Lauren is a qualified veterinary nurse, who has worked in the industry for 3.5 years.
Lauren grew up on a dairy farm in Undera where she discovered her passion for animals. Always wanting to be a part of the action whenever the vets were called out.
She enjoys the variety veterinary nursing provides but she especially enjoys nursing hospital patients to recovery and seeing them go home to their families.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys hiking and travelling with her fur baby Raine and playing netball locally
Vet Nurse (Training)
Tiann started her career in the veterinary industry as an equine nurse. In the last few years, she wanted to expand her knowledge so she made the shift to small animal nursing and is now completing her certificate IV in veterinary nursing.
Tiann grew up on a small farm where her love for animals started. Tianns favourite part of veterinary nursing is seeing the variety of animals and cases that come in and the satisfaction of being a part of an amazing team that dedicates themselves to help animals. She also really enjoys monitoring surgeries and asking the vets lots of questions about anything and everything.
In her spare time, Tiann loves to go on adventures and explore with her partner Bayden and their border collie Ace.
Fred loves lounging around the practice. If you see him he does love a pat
